Call for RS Distinguished Lecturers (DLs)

The Reliability Society is looking for candidates for its newly revised Distinguished Lecturers Program. Following is a short description of the program and the requirement for DL status.

Program Description

The primary purpose of the RS Distinguished Lecturer Program (DLP) is to help Society Chapters provide interesting and informative programs to serve the needs of members of the RS Society and to enhance their professional vitality by keeping them informed of new technological developments and applications. While the speakers may be available for other functions, the Distinguished Lecturer Program is not intended to support plenary speakers for conferences, symposiums, workshops, or university seminars.

Why Become a DL?

To be designated as a DL candidate a society member must be an IEEE Sr Member (Has 10 yrs of experience) or Fellow grade. The individual should have a reasonable command of the English language and ability to lecture to small and large groups.
