VP Publications Report

Your Web team has been working long and hard to develop our new website and I am proud to say that we are now officially open for business. Please take some time and explore. There are a lot of cool features, such as automatic links to the IEEE conferences database to display our conferences both on the home page and in the Events and Conferences tab, greatly expanded Distinguished Lecturers resources, useful links to each of our publications in the Pubs Tab, a Chapters map showing where in the World our chapters are located, and updated or completely rewritten content in all of the other Tabs and pages. In addition this site employs IEEE templates which have greatly helped us make our format and content consistent with other societies, and the Joomla! Content Management System which substantially enhances ease of maintenance. Thanks to the Web Team of Eric Wong, Todd Weatherford, Scott Tamashiro, Lon Chase, and Woody Rabon for their hard work and a huge THANK YOU to John Wettlaufer, our IEEE mentor who patiently and tactfully worked with us to make this happen.
