The conference technical program included 25 regular papers, 20 short papers, one workshop, one keynote address, and one Plenary Panel on Software Quality Assurance in Practice. It also hosted the first RS tutorial certificate program on Software Reliability. There were more than 130 attendees, including student volunteers from Professor W. Eric Wong’s Laboratory of Advanced Research on Software Technology at the University of Texas at Dallas. The following pictures were taken at the QSIC conference.

October 31, 2014: Seminar on Combinatorial Design-based Software Testing by Professor Renee Bryce (University of North Texas)

This was a two-hour presentation focusing on how to generate effective test cases using combinatorial design-based algorithms. A similar talk was given on March 8, 2014, and the response was overwhelming with many positive comments from the attendees. Hence, the chapter decided to invite Professor Bryce to give another presentation with additional materials based on her most recent research. Once again, the seminar attracted more than 50 UTD students and faculty. Refer to the following pictures for more details.
