The Reliability Society Arizona Chapter Has Been Approved by IEEE

The Reliability Society Arizona Chapter has been approved by IEEE!

A kick off meeting was held Friday, 5 December 2014 at the University of Arizona in the Old Engineering Building. The meeting was hosted by Haitao Liao, Ph.D. of the Systems and Industrial Engineering Department. Guest speaker was Loretta Arellano, prior RS President who spoke on IEEE Reliability Society vision, goals, and activities, and how these fit in with the Region 6 vision and goals.At the meeting, future officers were nominated, with the following slate being recommended:

The chapter is laying plans to hold the next meeting in Phoenix in the spring, and hold three total meetings each year, one each in Tucson, Sierra Vista, and Phoenix.
