The Reliability Society Nanjing Chapter and the Nanjing Institute of Product Quality Inspection co-sponsored a discussion forum on September 2, 2015 with attendees from RS Chapters in Beijing, Xi’an, Changsha, Nanjing and cities such as Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Wuhan where an RS chapter is to be established. The objective is to help officers of the above chapters establish a close networking so that they can work together to further promote the society and recruit more members. This event was co-located with the 11th China (Nanjing) International Software Product & Information Service Trade Fair.

Dr. Zhenyu Chen (Vice Chair of Nanjing Chapter and Professor from School of Software, Nanjing University) gave a talk on Crowdsourced Testing: Academic and Industry at Internet and Software Testing Forum. Professor Eric Wong (Society’s Vice President for Publications) also gave a presentation on IEEE Reliability Society & Chapter Overview to explain the benefits of becoming an RS member and the procedure to establish a local chapter.
