The Dallas Chapter, in conjunction with the Department of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas, organized a technical seminar by Mark Bentsen, QA Manager at Argo Data, on October 19, 2019.

The title of the talk was “Quality Assurance Illustrations and Principles.” It covered how to conduct effective software testing and quality assurance, reducing risk and eliminating waste, prioritization of automation, etc.

Mark Bentsen has been leading cross-enterprise collaboration in the Dallas-Fort Worth area among software quality practitioners for the past seven years. Gathering corporately on a quarterly basis and on field trips to one another’s work places, the QA Trailblazers are pushing each other to expand the capabilities of the modern software testing organization.

Mark is the QA Manager of ARGO data, a software development company providing mission-critical and analytical solutions for financial services and healthcare. He is also a certified CTAL-Full, CSTE, PMP, and ASQ CMQ/OE. He has been invited to give lectures at different venues such as STPCon and UT Dallas, and present industry webinars to various audiences.
