President's Message

Dear esteemed members of the IEEE Reliability Society,

As we find ourselves at the midpoint of this eventful year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the remarkable strides our society has made in advancing the field of reliability engineering.

Over the past six months, we have witnessed the power of collaboration and innovation as we continue to navigate a rapidly evolving technological landscape. As President, I am immensely proud of the numerous initiatives undertaken by our society. In early June, we achieved great success with our flagship conference, ICPHM, held in Montreal, Canada, featuring excellent keynotes, panels, and our inaugural data challenge program. Our highly anticipated Reliability Magazine is well on its way to launch in early 2024, and our membership continues to grow during the past few months. Furthermore, we are actively working on promoting Women in Reliability Engineering through collaboration with the IEEE Women in Engineering programs.

Looking ahead, the remainder of the year presents exciting opportunities for us to further strengthen our society's influence. I encourage each member to actively engage in knowledge exchange, share their expertise, and inspire others to join us in shaping the future of reliability engineering.

Thank you for being an integral part of this vibrant community. I highly appreciate your unwavering support and dedication.

With warm regards,

Z. Steven Li, PhD
President, IEEE Reliability Society 2023
