In keeping with IEEE's continued commitment to providing options to support the needs of all authors, IEEE is introducing a new Reliability Society Section in IEEE Access, IEEE’s award-winning, multidisciplinary open access journal.

The Reliability Society Section in IEEE Access draws on the expert technical community to continue IEEE’s commitment to publishing the most highly-cited content. The topical editor is Professor Steven Li, of Western New England University. Our goal is to publish quickly—the Journal peer-review process targets a publication period of 6 weeks for most accepted papers.

This journal is fully open and compliant with funder mandates, including Plan S.

Scope

The IEEE Reliability Society section in IEEE Access covers the strategies, methodologies, and the best practices for attaining, assessing, assuring, and sustaining the reliability of various systems at multiple scales throughout its life cycle.

Submit a paper today to the premier new Section in IEEE Access. During the submission process, in the Step 1: Type, Title, & Abstract, you need to select Society Section: IEEE Reliability Society Section.

The Reliability Society is regarded as a trusted and unbiased source of technical information for dialog and collaboration to assure reliability within engineering disciplines of hardware, software, and human factors. The Reliability Society is led by researchers and technology professionals who are at the center of respected reliability communities where readers and authors already come together.

The articles in this section are peer reviewed in accordance with the requirements set forth in the IEEE Publication Services and Products Board Operations Manual. Each published article was reviewed by a minimum of two independent reviewers using a single-blind peer review process, where the identities of the reviewers are not known to the authors, but the reviewers know the identities of the authors. Articles will be screened for plagiarism before acceptance.

 

Article Processing Charge 

Article Processing Charge of US$1850 per article without over-length page charges. IEEE members will receive a 5% discount, and members of IEEE Societies will receive a 15% discount.
