Reliability Society Engineer of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Awards

Dr. Bret Michael, Naval Postgraduate School and Dr. Michael Rung-Tsong Lyu, Chinese University of Hong Kong have been selected as recipients of the 2010 Reliability Engineer Award. The awards which include a plague,  a cash prize of 1500 USD and a travel allowance of 1000 USD for each of the recipients will be presented to them at the RS Awards banquet on January 22, 2011 held in Orlando, FL in connection with RAMS. Dr. Bret Michael is recognized for his achievements in applying practical formal methods for assurance of large complex distributed  systems, and Dr. Michael Rung-Tsong Lyu for his contributions to Software Reliability Modeling, Measurement, and Engineering.

Also to be presented at the Awards ceremony is the Lifetime Achievement award to be presented to Henry Hartt.
